In accordance with the Texas Property Tax Code, Section 5.102(a) and related Comptroller Rule 9.301, the Texas Comptroller Property Tax Assistance Division conducted a review of the District’s governance, taxpayer assistance, operating procedures and appraisal standards. This audit is required by statute. The Galveston Central Appraisal District has received a perfect score on the 2024 Methods and Assistance Program audit. The results of the audit are attached below.
