GENERAL INFORMATION: Tax code Section 1.085 requires a tax offical to deliver certain communciations to a property owner or the property owner’s designated representative electronically if the request is made in writing on a form prescribed by the comptroller which is linked below.
Galveston Central Appraisal District uses a property owner and agent portal to send electronic communication when possible. Emails from gcad@galvestoncad.org is also used as a backup when the portal is unable to send certain communication. All electronic communication to the district should be sent to gcad@galvestoncad.org.
