Mr. Farmer was born and raised in Galveston, Texas. He is happily married to Bonnie and they share two sons, Ted and Jason. He graduated from Ball High School and attended Texas A&M University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was also a member of Pi Tau Sigma, the Mechanical Engineering Honor Society.
During his expansive career, Mr. Farmer has served in several leadership positions:
- Co-President – Farmer’s Marine Copper Works / Farmers Alloy Fabricating
- Director – Maritime Legends, Farmers Industrial Properties, Farmer’s Copper, United States National Bank
- General Manager – 2314 Strand Properties and Tres Arroyos Ranch
- Advisory Director – Cullen Frost Bank
Lastly, he holds 7 United States letters patent giving exclusive rights to intellectual property.
